That day.
DH was away.
Urgency came with DS2 having heavy breathing.
Not relieved with MDI.
1am.
Others sleeping.
Loaded DS1, DS2, DS3 into kereta. (Carseats alhamdulillah)
That's 19kg, 12kg & 8kg. 💪
Didn't have a plan actually.
So just drove towards my mom's and started calling but no answer.
Called DH and asked him to keep on trying to call while I concentrate on driving.
But sempat transferred cash into my cred card. (motif?)
Ended up in front of my mom's and rang the doorbell.
The heavy breathing is now not quite as heavy.
Contemplating to go to ED straight or wait until morning and see specialist.
Decided to wait for a while, if another bout of heavy breathing, ED, if not, wait for morning clinic.
Earlier planned, DS1 celebration at school that morning.
He's all excited.
So, mommy determined, he will get his celebration.
Alhamdulillah, no heavy breathing till morning.
Took DS1 home, mandi, get ready to school.
While DS2&3 cared by maktok.
Sampai Banting on time. Head back to Shah Alam, called for walk in appointment.
Took DS2 jumpa paeds, management : 4 hourly neb and see back next morning. Okay.
Went back to my mom's, tend to DS3 and follow the 4 hourly neb plan.
And petang fetched DS1.
All happy with his celebration.
That night, DH came back. And took over DS2's 4 hourly management. Alhamdulillah!
Next morning, DH took DS2 for review while me tending to DS1 & DS3 at maktok's. Wasn't expecting admission, so relax² as that day masuk kerja at 3.30pm - 11pm.
1230 DH called, paeds planned for admission.
Too short notice to cari orang cover and stuff.
So, just went home, while all DS' cared by Maktok, packed bags for hospital, for weekend at Maktok's.
And, DH was supposed to go for Penang Bridge Marathon.
But, how?
Cut short, he tak pergi. Tough call.
And stayed with DS2 at the hospital.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
Monday, I had a meeting nearby hospital. So, Maktok took babysitter cover DS1 & DS3.
Dropped by hospital that morning just in time for rounds. And DS2 asking his doctor "nak bayek boyeh tak?" 😢
To that our doctor replied, "Boleh, tapi sambung nebs dekat rumah ok?"
So mommy went on with meeting. Balik tengah hari to nonoi DS3 as susu tinggal tak banyak 😅
DS2 discharged noon so DH sent back to sambung meeting.
Habis meeting sambung neb.
Next day baru took EL.
So that's that.
Panjaaaaang cerita.
Bila you're a working mom of 3 boys.
Husband not always at home.
No maid.
Home, nursery, workplace, meeting away from workplace, location all not so dekat.
Just thought I need to document this.
For reflection.
Or future planning.
Alhamdulillah ala kulli hal.
